Mike Kelly, LEED AP BD-CDirector of Preconstruction

Mike has worked in commercial construction since 2003. He specializes in preconstruction services for tenant finish and ground-up projects ranging from $1 million to $50 million.

Mike is responsible for preconstruction activities, which Alcorn Construction views as a service to our customers. Mike’s duties include estimating and conceptual estimating, assisting customers with project and site viability evaluation, managing projects from concept through contract, and management of the marketing team.

Experience

  • Stapleton Office Building, $7MM, 70.000sf ground up three story office building. Using tilt up construction with 52’ concrete panels. This project included a 45,000sf class A tenant finish with a monument stair connecting ½ of the first floor the entire 2nd floor tenant finish.
  • Hogan Lovells $8 million, 70,000 sf tenant finish (first generation space) of a DC based law firm at 1601 Wewatta floors 8,9, and 10 in Denver. Project was negotiated during preconstruction and managed from schematic phase to completion.
  • Tri County Health $2.5 million, 27,000 sf tenant finish remodel of a Denver based healthcare client in Westminster, CO. Project was negotiated during preconstruction and managed from schematic phase to completion. This project involved converting an industrial slab on grade space into a 100 room doctors office.
  • BKD $1.4 million, 19,000sf tenant finish remodel for a national accounting firm at 1801 California. Project was competitively bid amongst other GC’s and managed from the construction document phase to completion.
  • Molson Coors Headquarters $5 million, 60,000 sf tenant finish remodel for a well-respected client in the industry at 1801 California St, Denver. Project was negotiated during preconstruction and managed from schematic phase to completion.
  • Emerald Oil $2.2 million, 25,000 sf tenant finish (first generation space) for an oil and gas company at 200 Columbine in Cherry Creek. Project was negotiated during preconstruction and managed from schematic phase to completion.
  • Front Range Bank – aka Fortis $720k tenant finish remodel for a banking firm on the ground floor of 1550 17th Street. Project was negotiated during preconstruction and managed from schematic phase to completion.
