Lakewood, Colo., March 6, 2026 – Alcorn Construction today announced the completion of a majority ownership transition from founders Chris and Amy Alcorn to President & CEO, Derek Simpson, reinforcing the company’s commitment to continuity, culture, and the values that have defined Alcorn for nearly two decades.

Derek Simpson, who has been responsible for day-to-day operations and leadership for some time, now serves as President and Chief Executive Officer while also becoming the company’s majority shareholder.
