Phoenix, Ariz., September 21, 2026 – Alcorn Construction announced today the addition of Dean Howard as Business Development Manager for its Arizona Operations.
Howard brings more than 20 years of business development, strategic market growth, and economic development to the company. His background includes work across industrial, infrastructure, aviation, healthcare, and public market sectors.
In his new role, Howard will focus on identifying new business opportunities, supporting strategic pursuits, and increasing the company’s visibility throughout Arizona through Alcorn’s relationship-based approach to construction.

Howard previously served as Vice President of Business Development for Chanen Construction, where he helped reestablish the company’s Arizona presence and expand its market reach, developing relationships with developers, architects, municipal leaders, and other key industry partners. His work supported business development and market-positioning efforts across healthcare, commercial, aviation, hospitality, municipal, and public-sector markets.

Howard, a longtime Arizona business and community leader, holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Arizona State University and has served with numerous professional and civic organizations, including the Arizona Association of Economic Development, AFCOM Arizona Chapter, Leadership West, Fighter Country Partnership, and other industry groups that support economic development, workforce initiatives, and business growth throughout the state.
